This was a great experience! If you are not use to someone showing up on time and communicating effectively, then you are in for a surprise. Mike came over to fix some ceiling entry damage from an AC installation. He did a wonderful job matching the rounded wallboard corners, mud/sanding and then painting/glazing. You couldn't tell that there had been damage. He was meticulous in his work and in cleaning up. I would trust Mike to fix anything in my house. I will call him again. Outstanding!
I have tried to find a handyman for some months, with no success. I met Mike, and within a week the work was done. he responded to me when he said he would. He was punctual. He did the job well, and now I do not need to worry. I will continue to use My Extra Hands!

We had him come to clean out the dryer vent in the wall. He did a very thorough job. He came on time. Called before he came (as per our request.) He was friendly and respectful. He cleaned up the area he had worked. He was clear when he was fearful the outside vent was sun damaged and could break when he removed it--and what it would cost if it needed to be replaced--but he was careful enough it was not damaged. No complaints!
Mike was terrific! He and his assistant removed a built in dinette set. Not the easiest endeavor, however they did a great job. I couldn't have asked for better work or nicer people. Mike was friendly and efficient. Really does excellent work. I'm happy to recommend him and glad to have found such a trustworthy and experienced handyman.
Mike at My Extra Hands does excellent work. I had several small repairs that I couldn't do myself, although I tried... He came in and got them done! I appreciated his communication right from the start which in my experience is not the norm for someone who has small home projects. He did great work and I am grateful to find someone like him. Mike was recommended to us by a neighbor. He repaired some damaged wallboard, replaced baseboard on a bay window. His work was superior. The area he worked on looks better than the rest of the room yet matches perfectly. He left the work area spotlessly clean. I can’t say enough great things about Mike and his work. I saw reviews and chose him sight unseen. I knew nothing about him or his company. He put my faith back into workers as his work ethic was outstanding. He hung a huge TV above our fireplace and hung a towel rack in our bathroom in our new home. He showed up on very short notice, did an outstanding job and was very neat! I will definitely use him again!
The hinges on one of our doors ripped completely out. Micheal came out in about and hour. He got the door fixed with no trouble and really saved my day. 10/10 will call again.

Mike is the best! We have used him multiple times and he is always quick to get us in. He is beyond kind. The first time came he took time to let my toddler “help” him with his toy tools. Mike accomplished a long list of a variety of things in 2,5 hours. From installing a shower system to replacing door handles and hanging wall art. He was great at communicating, which I value very much in people I work with. He is very kind and easy to work with. We were surprised at how efficiently he worked. I asked him to check the dryer vents, he did, and told me that they looked clean and left the decision to me. So, he is also very honest about what needs to be done. We will be working with him for all our handyman needs from now on. Highly recommend.

Mike installed an in wall doggie door for us. He knew what he was doing, had the proper tools, did an excellent job and cleaned up the area when he finished installing. I am really pleased with my experience with Mike. He was the consummate professional: he showed up on time, he was pleasant to interact with, and (most importantly) he did quality work. Mike fixed our sink hose for our kitchen faucet, he installed a bike anchor into our pack porch patio which required a concrete drill, and he installed a new deadbolt lock. He went the extra mile and assembled some Ikea furniture! I have no hesitation in recommending Mike to anyone in the area and will gladly ask his assistance for other future projects.

We hired him to change light bulbs on our 18 ft ceiling and he was resourceful. We didn't have the right bulbs for one light fixture and had them on hand without charging us extra. He was reasonably priced. He was also punctual and respectful the whole time. Overall a pleasant experience.

Aah, he's discreet! I flooded my bathroom TWICE in two weeks; he said he would tell NO ONE...but I'm telling you because he did such a good job of fixing things! Also had him install a shower head with wand while he was here. He always let me know where he was with the project, was always on time (or let me know if he was early, even). always very pleasant. Even helped me put my Kindle in the case that came while he was here. So what, you say? Well, I had just had eye surgery and couldn't see a darn thing, so that was above and beyond what he came to do. He's been a joy to work with...it's so hard to find someone like him, especially when the only hands you have are yours and you are such a klutz when it comes to handyman stuff. I highly recommend him!

We called Mike in a panic. I had "fixed" a toilet, and was in the process of re-seating the other one in our rental unit and was busily fixing other stuff trying to get ready for our new tenants to move in. We had been there a week getting it ready from the previous tenants. One hour before meeting the new tenants and turning the keys over to them, I noticed one of the toilets was leaking! I called mike, and he was right over to rescue us. He fixed the 1st toilet, finished the second toilet and repaired a door knob that wasn't working on an external door. All of this before the tenants arrived! He was fast, friendly, and did it all for a great price! I am definitely using him in the future!

I’ve had Mike do a couple of jobs for me at my new home. Each time he has been extremely professional. I’ve had him install an in-wall dog door, hooked up my washer and dryer, replaced a light fixture in my bathroom, and installed a remote control in my ceiling fan. His workmanship is the best I’ve seen here in St. George. For these jobs, he ALWAYS gave me the best deal. He is also very courteous. He calls or texts even if he will be a few minutes late. He takes the time out to talk to me and see what it is that will be best for the job he is going to do at my home. After installation he shows me the finished work and if needed, instructions on how to use it. He is very neat while doing the job for me and he always cleans the area when he is finished. When it came to installing my dog door, I had purchased the wrong type of door. I had to return the product and get the right one. He waited patiently at my home while I went back to the store to get the right one – he even offered to go with me to make sure I was getting the best one for the space. Most other handymen would just reschedule for another day and time. But not Mike! He is available when I need him. He works around my schedule which is very hard to find in a handyman. I am extremely satisfied with his services and will not look for another handyman here in St. George!

We bought two large and heavy outdoor sheds from HD. Wife and I are both 80+ yrs. Contacted Mike to set up the sheds. He assembled and set up both sheds perfectly. Asked him if he would anchor them to the concrete pad (drilling). He will do that as well. Mike's skilled work is worth every penny. Very pleasant man. Experienced and efficient. We hired Mike to install a dog door in an exterior wall. He had great availability, and was amazing to give us his recommendations for the brand and size of door. He showed up on time, was efficient, did great work, and cleaned up after the job was done. He went above and beyond filling up the tires on my kids’ trike that were flat, and fixing our gate latch that he noticed was sticking- without being asked. We will definitely call Mike the next time we need a handyman.

Mike installed a doggie door for us a couple years ago and it was great. Our dog outgrew the smaller door and we had him install a larger door. He’s quick, professional, and knowledgeable. I’m grateful for him as my extra set of hands for home projects.

My Extra Hands gave me prompt service right before Christmas, coming out on the next business day, 12/23. The job of cleaning the dryer vent was handled very thoroughly and it completed cleared the vent of all the accumulated debris.
