Mounting a TV above a fireplace on a stacked stone surround is one of those jobs that looks simple but really isn't. Stone doesn't cooperate the same way drywall does. You need the right anchors, the right approach, and a good eye for level - otherwise you end up with a crooked screen and a wall you've already put holes in.

This is exactly the kind of setup we love getting right. The stone surround runs floor to ceiling, and getting a clean, secure mount on a surface like that takes patience and the right hardware. The end result speaks for itself - the TV sits flush and level, centered on the stone above the mantel, and it looks like it belongs there.

One thing people don't always think about until after the TV goes up is cord management. A big screen floating on a beautiful stone wall loses a lot of its appeal when there's a bundle of cables hanging down the front. We keep that in mind on every install.

A properly mounted TV does more for a room than most people expect. It clears up surface clutter, improves your viewing angle, and just makes the whole space feel more pulled together. Whether it's above a fireplace, on a bedroom wall, or in a dedicated media room - the difference between a rushed install and a careful one shows.
