Big mirrors are one of those things that look simple on paper. Pick a spot, grab a level, put it on the wall. But when you're dealing with a large, heavy piece - especially one mounted up high - that's a different job entirely. One wrong move and you're looking at a cracked mirror, a gouged wall, or worse.
This was a large round mirror with a black metal frame, and it needed to go up on a tall wall in a stairwell area. Not exactly a one-person-on-a-stepladder situation. We brought in scaffolding to get up there safely and work with both hands free. That's the kind of planning that keeps the job clean and the mirror - and the wall - intact.
The back of this mirror has two separate mounting points at the top corners, which means placement has to be precise. Both anchor points need to hit solid wall structure, and the whole thing has to sit level. When you're working at height with a heavy piece, there's no room to eyeball it and hope for the best.
That's really the whole point of calling us for a job like this. It's not just about having the tools - it's about knowing how to use them together. The scaffolding, the right hardware, a proper level, finding the studs - it all comes together so the mirror ends up exactly where it should be, held securely, and looking like it belongs there.
We handle the jobs that are too awkward, too heavy, or too high to tackle solo. If you've got a mirror, piece of art, or anything else sitting in a box because you're not sure how to get it up safely - that's exactly what we're here for.
