Custom Ukulele Wall Display That Actually Shows Off the Collection

Some collections are too good to stay hidden. When you've got a ukulele collection this size - and this much personality - stacking them in a corner or laying them across a bed just doesn't cut it. They deserve wall space.

We built out a three-rail wall rack system to get the whole collection up and on display. Each instrument hangs cleanly with its own hook, spaced out so nothing is crowded. The black rails run the full width of the wall, and the staggered two-row layout means you can actually see each uke without anything getting lost behind something else. Every color, every finish, every body style - all visible at once.

This is the kind of shelving and wall rack work we genuinely enjoy. It's not just about drilling holes and calling it done. The layout matters. The spacing matters. Getting the rails level and anchored so they can hold the weight of a full collection - that matters too. When it's done right, the wall does the talking.

Next step for this one is LED lighting along the rails, which is going to take this from "cool setup" to full display-worthy. We're already looking forward to seeing how it comes together.
