Custom Guitar Collection Wall Rack Installation for a Serious Collector

Some jobs are just straight-up cool. This was one of them. A client came to us with a serious guitar collection and a dedicated room to match - complete with a gorgeous granite feature wall, a steel and glass door entry, and custom lighting already in place. The ask was simple: get a wall-mounted display system installed cleanly across every surface of the room, and make it rock solid.

We installed multiple rows of Upella guitar wall rack rails across two surfaces - the large granite accent wall and the adjacent textured wall on the side. Getting these rails properly anchored into granite is not a standard drywall job. It takes the right hardware, the right approach, and patience to make sure every mount sits flush, level, and secure enough to hold real instruments. No shortcuts.

What we love about this kind of wall rack installation is that it's equal parts functional and visual. Once the guitars go up, this room is going to look like a private music gallery. The rails are evenly spaced and run wall-to-wall, so the whole setup has a clean, intentional look - nothing haphazard about it. That kind of detail matters when the room itself is this well put together.

This is exactly the kind of custom shelving and wall rack work we do for clients who want something done right the first time. Whether it's a collection room, a garage storage system, or a display wall in your home, we bring the same level of care to every install. The surface, the hardware, the layout - all of it gets thought through before a single screw goes in.
